The villa is ideally located just a few minute walk to Punta Mita Golf Club, and it over looks the 18th fairway of Pacifico golf course, offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the renowned Tail of the Whale golf green. Renters and guests at the house will have access to the St.Regis Beach Club that is just steps away and can be accessed by foot without the need of a golf cart.

Punta Mita is a private gated community which prides itself as being safe and secure. Once within the security gates of Punta Mita, guests will also enter another security gate to get into Pacifico Estates which has a total of only five properties. Once pass this security gate, Cola de Ballena has its own security gate with passcode entry.
Once inside the property, the main house and the two casitas are all just steps away from each other. Think of the walkways as open air hallways! Everything is nestled together and functions as one house, yet provides privacy and sound barriers for the guests.

The Story
Cola de Ballena - Tail of the Whale
Cola de Ballena, which translates in English as “Tail of the Whale,” was named this for a couple of reasons.
While relaxing by the pool or enjoying the second story terrace,
be thrilled by the spectacular show as majestic humpback whales frolic and breach in the ocean right beyond the house. Witnessing these magnificent creatures play in their natural habitat will awaken your sense of wonder and enchantment.
Additionally, the world-renowned “Tail of the Whale” golf hole is in sight from the villa. Golfers come from all over the world to tee off from the mainland and ideally have their drive clear the ocean to land on the island green called Tail of the Whale. During low tide, it is a peninsula and is accessible by golf cart to allow golfers to put on the green. During high tide, it becomes an island and is not accessible. Either way, golfers love the challenge!
